Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modeller to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and managing data structures and models that align with our business requirements. Your expertise will ensure the consistency, integrity, and accessibility of data across the organisation while supporting data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Structure Design: Design and manage data structures and models in line with business requirements and objectives.

  • Logical Data Models: Develop logical data models that define the data architecture, ensuring consistency, integrity, and accessibility.

  • Collaboration with Lead Data Modellers: Work closely with Lead Data Modellers to ensure alignment with broader logical data model (LDM) design aspects and strategic objectives.

  • Requirements Analysis: Partner with Business Data Analysts to analyse data requirements and clarify design needs.

  • Developer Support: Collaborate with developers to optimise data structures, enhance data quality, and facilitate efficient data-driven decision-making processes.

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data models and architectures.

  • Strong understanding of data consistency, integrity, and accessibility principles.

  • Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including Data Analysts and Developers.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective and scalable data models.

  • Knowledge of data quality optimisation techniques and best practices.

Desirable Experience:
  • Public sector/Pharmaceutical experience
  • Knowledge of medical device regulations
  • Experience using Sparx Enterprise Architect
