I am currently recruiting for an exciting Lead Data Engineer role with a leading organisation undergoing a major digital transformation. - Drive AI and machine learning initiatives, building predictive models to improve operational efficiency.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data engineering best practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and/or Scala for data processing and automation.
- Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications in data analytics and business intelligence.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and mentor data engineering teams.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, translating complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
- STEM degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field).
- Experience in data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Background in legal or professional services (advantageous but not essential).
