Lead Data Engineer - Shape the Future of Data & Analytics

I am currently recruiting for an exciting Lead Data Engineer role with a leading organisation undergoing a major digital transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity to define and lead the data engineering strategy, building a scalable, insight-driven data infrastructure that leverages AI, cloud technologies, and advanced analytics to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Skills & Experience:
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data engineering best practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and/or Scala for data processing and automation.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and event-driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML applications in data analytics and business intelligence.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and mentor data engineering teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, translating complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
Preferred Experience:
  • STEM degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field).
  • Experience in data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Background in legal or professional services (advantageous but not essential).
