As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work closely with key business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that support evolving business needs. You will play a crucial role in managing data models, optimising reporting, and ensuring data accuracy across various platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data solutions that meet business requirements.
- Manage and resolve complex data-related issues, ensuring system integrity.
- Assess the impact of business changes on data models to mitigate risks.
- Work closely with business analysts, architects, and developers to enhance data strategies.
- Support MI teams by ensuring data is accurately represented in reports and dashboards.
- Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive data excellence.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in SQL and ETL processes.
- Strong expertise in MS-SQL Server, TSQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Python, and Data Lakes.
- Experience in insurance MI or reporting, with a strong understanding of industry-specific data requirements.
- Desirable skills: Data Warehousing, PowerShell, DevOps, Advanced Excel, Power Query, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- 5+ years of experience in an MGA or insurance industry environment.
