Robert Half Technology are assisting a UK market leading financial services organisation to recruit a SAP Data Migration Consultant on an initial 6-12 month contract basis
Role
- The SAP Data Migration Consultant will take ownership of the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Data Migration Load activities using SAP Data Migration Cockpit
- Resolve data migration cockpit issues and defects arising during each of the data load cycles
- Support the Data Management Lead in the migration of complex financial data from Sun Systems to SAP S/4 HANA.
- Help develop and implement data migration strategies, processes, and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient data transfer.
- Validate and cleanse data to ensure data integrity and quality throughout the migration process.
- Utilise exceptional data manipulation skills, including SQL, Excel, and Python, to extract, transform, and load data for migration.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Profile
- The SAP Data Migration Consultant will have experience in senior data migration roles, particularly migrating complex financial data from legacy ERP systems to SAP S/4 HANA.
- Proven data migration experience in at least one SAP Public Cloud Implementation for Finance and Procurement
- Experience working with external implementation partners and managing data migration projects.
- Exceptional data manipulation skills, including SQL, Excel, and Python
