Senior/Principle Data Modeller:

£80k - £120k + Bonus + Benefits

My client is a leading Data Consultancy who are looking to add a Data Modeller to their current team. You will be joining an established team and reporting into the Head of Data Architecture. This is a permanent role based in London and is hybrid working.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct business analysis to define and understand data usage.
  • Collaborate with experts to analyze data requirements and update data models.
  • Identify data entities and relationships, showing source-to-target mappings.
  • Support intra-system data design and metadata management.
  • Implement physical data models and manage governance activities.

Required Experience:

  • Strong data modeling experience in large-scale data migration projects.
  • Knowledge of financial reference data and industry-standard models (e.g., fpML, FIX, FIBO).
  • Proficient in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and gathering business requirements.
  • Familiar with agile project lifecycles and UML/logical data models.
  • Knowledge of RDBMS and modeling semi-structured schemas (JSON/XML).
