Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a talented Accounts Receivable & Billings Manager to join their finance team based in London.

Role

Reporting into the Finance Director, the Accounts Receivable Manager will take ownership of billings & receivable processes in the business, ensuring great efficiency. They will be responsible for a number of tasks including:

  • Train and develop the Accounts Receivable team to ensure deadlines are met on time.
  • Play a key role in designing and implementing collection policies/procedures.
  • Communicate with customers to resolve any billing issues.
  • Maintain Excel spreadsheets for customer account reconciliations.
  • Balance the month-end cash and AR.
  • Prepare overdue accounts for debt collection.
  • Liaise with appropriate departments for any billing inaccuracies.
  • Promptly respond to billing, sales and any other customer queries.
  • Resolve short issues regarding over payments, un-applied payments, credit terms, and contracts.
  • Respond to any accounts receivable enquiries in a timely fashion.

Profile

The ideal profile for this Accounts Receivable Manager position based in central London, should have the following:

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar Accounts Receivable / Billings Manager position.
  • Experience with NetSuite.
  • Team management experience, ideally managing international teams.
  • Strong Excel understanding (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIfs etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Hands-on experience in dealing with large data sets.
  • Experience in improving processes and systems.
