The City & Capital team is currently representing a highly respected & fast growing commercial property finance lender who have retained our services to appoint a dedicated and driven Collections & Recoveries Assistant at an exciting time.

Our client is extremely well-funded with increased investment driving a new round of growth which is set to take the business to the next level. Due to this they are keen to bolster their Collections & Recoveries department.

This is a role that will come with a lot of progression potential where excellent performance and attitude is demonstrated so ambitious types are welcome!

Role duties include (but are not limited to)

  • Liaising with clients through phone, email, and correspondence to negotiate repayment plans and settlements
  • Monitoring accounts and ensuring timely follow-ups on overdue payments
  • Supporting litigation processes by liaising with solicitors and receivers
  • Preparing accurate redemption statements and supporting documentation

Experience Strongly Desired:

  • Previous experience in loan (ideally property finance) recoveries, collections, or a related role is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of lending processes and financial regulations.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in recoveries role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Knowledge of legal processes related to loan recovery is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Our client is ideally looking to pay a competitive basic salary of c£40k/£45k for the ideal individual. Higher offers may be considered for exceptional experience.
