The Role:

  • To meet the growing demand for our technology and services, we are now seeking a Collections Executive to join our collections & recoveries department. You will be responsible for promoting and sustaining a constructive, supportive and professional working relationship with all merchants and colleagues. Being one of the fastest growing Fintech businesses globally we are looking for exceptionally talented and self-motivated person who has a desire to build a career within the company.

Requirements:

  • Collections and recoveries understanding (customer contact strategy awareness).
  • To provide a first-class service relating to the resolution of any non/under-paying merchant.
  • Case management of high value accounts in arrears across varying and unique circumstances.
  • Handling inbound and outbound telephone calls, create ad hoc letter and email content with high levels of care, awareness and accuracy.
  • Build positive relationships with our merchants to validate their circumstances and resolve with a positive outcome for both the company and the merchant.
  • Negotiate, implement and execute positive solutions with the Merchants circumstances in mind, while balancing the best interests of the business.
  • Strong communication skills, accuracy and confidence.
  • The ability to deal with a variety of challenges, innovate and think on your feet.
  • Business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit with real enthusiasm for helping SMEs. Experience within the finance industry is advantageous.
  • Data input, accurately inputting data across multiple systems.

Essential:

  • Fluent in English and German.
  • At least one year's experience within Credit Control/Collections/Debt Recovery environment.

Desirable traits:

  • Be highly reliable, organised and adaptable.
  • HubSpot proficiency.
  • Excel experience.
  • Insolvency knowledge.
  • Legal escalation understanding.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and confidence working with data.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with strong work ethic and can do attitude while being a team player.
