We are a well-established and friendly dental practice seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatments and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
- Provide high-quality patient care and communicate effectively with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding of treatments.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) where applicable.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Provide chairside support and help with patient preparation and post-treatment care.
- Help manage dental supplies, ordering and ensuring the practice runs efficiently.
Key Requirements:
- Several years of experience as a dental nurse.
- Must be GDC registered
- Strong understanding of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and caring approach to patients.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Radiography certification (preferred but not essential).
