Qualified Dental Nurse
We are a large team with two lovely practices in South West London. Clapham has six surgeries, while Balham is smaller with four surgeries.
We have a big, friendly team with a busy, fast-paced atmosphere. A unique aspect of Ten Dental is that our nurses rotate between both practices, giving everyone the opportunity to work with all our dentists, including specialists in Endo, Perio, Ortho, and Oral Surgery, as well as our General Dental Surgeons.
We also place a LOT of implants! If you enjoy exposure to a wide variety of clinicians and like staying busy, this is the place for you!
Qualified Dental Nurse Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards
Qualified Dental Nurse Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in record-keeping and instrument sterilization
- Proficiency in taking dental x-rays and maintaining radiographic equipment
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong organizational skills to manage patient appointments and maintain an orderly dental office

Qualified Dental Nurse Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
Qualified Dental Nurse Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
