We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Nurse or a Trainee Dental Nurse with some experience to join our team. Ideally, candidates will be recently qualified or have equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to align with our team's working methods.

As a crucial part of our private dental practice, the Dental Nurse will provide exceptional clinical, administrative, and receptionist support in a fast-paced but supportive environment. This role includes being the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive patient experience, mentoring trainee nurses, and supporting their training as needed.

Working Hours:

  • Monday/Friday: 09:15–18:45
  • Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 08:45–18:15
  • Saturday: 08:45–17:15(Up to 1-hour lunch break allowed)

Commitment: Must be available to work 2 out of every 3 Saturdays, in addition to Monday–Friday shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and visitors with a warm, professional demeanour.
  • Perform all routine clinical duties of a modern Dental Nurse, incorporating a dual Treatment Coordinator role.
  • Organise nursing staff and participate in the practice's ongoing compliance efforts.
  • Track dental leads and enquiries via GoHighLevel CRM, website, chatbot, social media, and email platforms.
  • Work collaboratively with dental colleagues to ensure efficient and high-quality care.
  • Schedule appointments proactively, manage the diary effectively, and think critically to benefit the practice.
  • Handle phone calls and respond to patient enquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Process payments accurately and maintain up-to-date financial and patient records.
  • Maintain patient records with strict confidentiality.
  • Support administrative tasks, such as completing consents, treatment plans, and uploading patient files (e.g., photos, X-rays, documents).

Requirements:

  • Qualifications;
    • Dental Nurse certification or experience as a Trainee Dental Nurse.
  • Experience;
    • For qualified candidates: Proven experience in both nursing and administrative roles.
    • For trainee candidates: Some experience in dental nursing and a commitment to further training.
  • Skills;
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in dental software and IT systems for scheduling and record-keeping.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
  • Personal Attributes;
    • Accountability, honesty, and punctuality are essential.
