We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Trainee Dental Nurse to join our professional and welcoming team on a full or part time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, comprehensive training, and mentorship in a progressive dental environment.

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work closely with our skilled dental professionals, assisting in delivering exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists and hygienists during a variety of dental procedures.
  • Prepare and sterilise instruments while maintaining a clean and organised surgery.
  • Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their appointments.
  • Ensure patient records and documentation are accurately maintained.
  • Adhere to infection control and health and safety protocols.
  • Occasionally support reception duties, including booking appointments and handling queries.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development by completing your dental nurse qualification.

Requirements:

  • A passion for patient care and a desire to build a career in dental nursing.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new methods and technologies.
  • Commitment to enrol in and complete an approved dental nursing qualification.
  • Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling.
  • Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination (or at least the first dose).
  • Enrolment confirmation for an approved dental nursing course.
  • Right to work in the UK.
