As an Assistant Building Manager, you'll support the facilities and engineering managers in all aspects of building operations. Acting as a deputy when needed, you'll be working as part of a market-leading Facilities team for a best-in-class blue-chip brand that is renowned for their service-provision across some of the UK's most cutting-edge pieces of real estate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist facilities, building, and engineering managers with client relations, ensuring open communication with occupiers on building updates and operational matters.
  • Help maintain up-to-date records for compliance with operational procedures.
  • Support with budget planning and management of the service charge.
  • Ensure health & safety and emergency procedures are in place and up to current standards. Take charge in emergencies in the property manager's absence.
  • Conduct regular inspections of completed work, service contracts, and premises.
  • Lead administrative tasks for the efficient operation of the building management office.
  • Assist in producing service specifications, contracts, and other key documentation in line with company standards.
  • Track and process service invoices and help compile management accounts.
  • Manage the BMS, including updating locations, instructions, resources, and asset registers.
  • Uphold the company's vision and values, ensuring they're reflected in all aspects of the building's management.

We're looking for someone immediately available (or on very short notice) who can bring a customer-service orientated approach to their work, and with a foundation of FM knowledge which our client can build and develop further - taking you to the next level of your career. An IOSH would be useful, but isn't essential.
