- Contract Management: Ensure effective delivery of cleaning and grounds maintenance contracts, monitoring SLAs and KPIs.
- Performance Monitoring: Hold monthly contract meetings, track performance, and implement corrective actions.
- Team Leadership: Line manage 4 officers, ensuring inspections, complaint resolution, and service improvements are carried out.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with residents, contractors, and internal teams to address service issues and enhance delivery.
- Complaints & Compliance: Oversee complaint handling, ensuring timely responses and resident satisfaction.
- Health & Safety: Ensure contractor compliance with H&S standards in waste collection and street cleansing.
- Data & Reporting: Analyse performance data, produce management reports, and recommend service enhancements.
- Project Delivery: Lead initiatives to improve estate services in line with council sustainability goals.
- Community Engagement: Attend resident meetings, surgeries, and forums (some outside standard hours).
- Knowledge of local government housing services or similar environments.
- Understanding of climate and ecological initiatives in service delivery.
