Are you a dynamic leader passionate about customer service, community building, and driving business success? Our client, a thriving co-living provider in Ealing, is seeking a General Manager to lead their vibrant community, ensuring exceptional experiences for residents while managing the business effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Experience & Community Building

  • Serve as the face of the community, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed promptly.
  • Organise and oversee events, workshops, and activities to cultivate a sense of belonging and engagement among residents.
  • Proactively gather feedback to continuously enhance the resident experience.

2. Business Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the co-living property, including facilities, maintenance, and housekeeping teams.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring profitability while maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Work with the leadership team to set and achieve financial and operational goals.
  • Manage occupancy levels, implementing strategies to attract and retain residents.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.

3. Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, inspire, and manage on-site staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Foster a positive work culture, providing training and support for team development.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.

4. Marketing & Networking

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the co-living space locally and online.
  • Build partnerships with local businesses and organisations to enhance community offerings.
  • Represent the brand in the local community, driving awareness and engagement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within hospitality, property management, or co-living sectors.
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for community building.
  • Excellent business acumen with the ability to manage budgets and financial performance.
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of the Ealing area and its community is a plus.
