This international premium retailer & brand has been established for over 80 years and has continued success in Europe & Asia. This store provides an exciting array of luxury products and a premium experience with their carefully edited collection of their European merchandise including handbags, accessories & luggage.

The role of Assistant Manager is second in charge of the store with floor management responsibilities across the store.

The roles and responsibilities of this Assistant Manager - Premium Retail are:

  • To work towards the store financial, operations and service targets set by the store manager
  • Deliver exceptional client service by greeting and acknowledging each customer, fostering new relationships to drive sales and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Ensures clients receive superior after sales service.
  • Assists the Store Manager with managing the store schedule, timings & absentee management.
  • Hiring high calibre performing team members from Sales Assistant to Associate Manager level.
  • Attains monthly sales goal and delivers increases in other KPI goals (e.g. conversions and UPT).
  • Manages and coordinates the daily operations & shop floor standards -including cash handling, security measures and visual standards.
  • Monitors and assists the Store Manager with the training and development for store associates.
  • Being accountable of product knowledge training.
  • Assist with the visual merchandising and store standards.
  • Complete regular audits as per company policy.
  • Responsible for maintaining clear and efficient communication channels between management, head office, and store colleagues.

To be successful in this Assistant Manager - Premium Retail are:

  • Ideally having 2 years' experience as an established Assistant, Deputy, Department or Floor Manager from a customer focused environment.
  • Ideally you experience premium retail environment where service level is of the highest standards.
  • Having exceptional client service and experience of recruitment and training new staff members.
  • Can demonstrate passion & entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Understand working towards financial & non-financial KPI's.
  • Someone who would consider themselves a brand ambassador.
