Located in the bustling heart of Canary Wharf, is a vibrant retail destination that specializes in a wide array of authentic products. The company are currently seeking an Assistants Store Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about South African culture and have a desire to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Day to Day of the Role:- Work rotating shifts, mainly 11am till 8pm on weekdays and 9am till 6pm on weekends.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support the store’s daily operations.
- Maintain flexibility to work across multiple store locations within the city area.
- Contribute to the team’s efforts in achieving sales targets and store goals.
- Assist in managing stock levels and ensuring product availability.
- Uphold the store’s standards of cleanliness and organisation.
- 1 year + in an Assistant Managerial role.
- Experience managing within global groceries/ supermarket industry
- Experience managing team members
- Proficiency in store and stock management.
- Proven rota management skills and team leadership experience.
- Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene for Retail certificate.
- First Aid certificate.
- Fire Warden certificate.
- Ability to work weekends and have a flexible schedule.
- 44-hour work week with 2 days off, including paid daily breaks.
