We are seeking a dynamic Senior Assistant Project Manager to join our EMEA Construction team, supporting the coordination and execution of new store openings, refurbishments, and special projects. Key Responsibilities
Project Support: Assist Senior Project Managers with day-to-day operations, co-managing smaller projects while gaining hands-on experience with larger initiatives.
- Develop and track project budgets.
- Create and monitor project schedules.
- Coordinate project milestones and activities across various departments.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with the procurement team to select and
manage vendors, liaise with the legal team for contract administration, and foster strong
working relationships across departments.
Database Management & Reporting: Maintain and update the EMEA project database. Produce, manage, and publish project calendars for new openings and refurbishments, ensuring timely updates and accurate communication.
Risk & Opportunity Management: Review project milestones and provide insights on risks and opportunities to Construction Managers.
Financial Oversight: Assist in preparing monthly expenditure summaries and forecasts for presentation to the finance team. Contribute to the creation of cost budgets for upcoming projects.
Internal Communications: Serve as a key voice for the construction team, sharing updates and achievements on internal social media platforms.
Documentation & Compliance: Compile and organize essential project documentation, such as "as-built" records and O&M manuals.
Administrative Excellence: Manage purchase orders and assist in creating professional presentations for conference calls and internal meetings.
Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: A solid foundation in construction or design, supported by formal
qualifications. Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.
- Retail Environment Experience: Experience in a retail design setting is highly valued.
- Strong Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel,
PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- Communication & Organization: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the
ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
