About Us:CVS Van Hire is a leading provider of reliable and efficient van rental services. We pride ourselves on maintaining a top-notch fleet, ensuring safety and performance for our customers. To support our operations, we are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance on diesel vans.
- Conduct tyre changes, brake repairs, and other mechanical work.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of service and repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with the team to improve processes and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, braking systems, and vehicle maintenance.
- Relevant certification or qualification in automotive mechanics is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license.
