Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Medicines Management Technician to join a busy NHS hospital in North London. The role involves working directly on the wards, providing essential medicines management services. You will be responsible for ensuring that medication is managed safely and effectively, supporting ward teams in optimizing patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with clinical staff on wards to ensure safe and effective use of medicines.
- Conducting medicines reconciliations and providing advice on appropriate medication usage.
- Ensuring medication is stored and dispensed according to hospital policies.
- Supporting patients in understanding their medication regimens.
Requirements:
- You must be a qualified pharmacy technician with current GPhC registration.
- Previous experience in a hospital or NHS setting is preferred, but not essential.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
