Salt is excited to collaborate with one of London's leading agencies to source a Freelance Data Analyst to work closely with their Head of Data & Insight to provide useful insights and make strategic or tactical recommendations. This will be min 3 months in length and hybrid working to their London HQ.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the evaluation and reporting for campaigns, ensuring strategic goals are set and KPIs and benchmarks are established from the start.
  • Gather and organise both organic and paid data to deliver top-notch analytics and insights for our clients across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Combine social and digital data findings to develop strategic recommendations alongside our digital strategists.
  • Help create and improve best-in-class measurement and evaluation frameworks for the team.
  • Keep up with the latest measurement trends and relevant industry, behavioural, and platform trends that impact measurement.
  • Handle any adhoc requests and provide monthly, quarterly, and yearly data reports to internal teams and clients as needed.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
  • Circa 3-4 years experience in data analytics, social, or digital fields.
  • Understanding of marketing and communications objectives and strategies, and how to measure their effectiveness.
  • Proven experience in reporting on campaign performance.
  • Experience with platforms like Brandwatch, Linkfluence, Meltwater, etc.
  • Experience with data analytics or Business Intelligence platforms like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong interest in and understanding of the current media landscape and its intersection with popular culture.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with a confident presentation style.
  • Love solving problems and turning data into clear, actionable insights
