LEAD RISK REPORTING ANALYST

UP TO £75,000

REMOTE (occasional travel to London)

This is an exciting opportunity to sit within this bank's Risk function where you will work across their digital fraud covering all non-plastic fraud.

THE COMPANY

This company is a specialist bank and is one of the largest across Europe and the US with more than 2.5 million customers currently. The bank provides retail, small business, and corporate customer offerings including savings, payment, lending, insurance, and more.

THE ROLE

You will be doing the following daily:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimise transaction and payment fraud strategies across the business.
  • Maximise fraud detection rates while minimising false positives.
  • Enhance fraud mitigation for all payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, with a focus on phishing attacks and fraudulent card provisioning requests.
  • Implement fraud prevention tools and tactical changes in collaboration with IT and Operations teams.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive reporting suite to meet both internal fraud monitoring and external regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Utilise a variety of analytical and visualisation tools and techniques.
  • Stay informed about new fraud methods, attacks, or data breaches, and raise awareness among the team and stakeholders.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with SAS, SQL, Python, or Power BI.
  • Experience in fraud management and fraud role optimisation.
  • Strong knowledge of the digital payments industry.
  • Proficiency in Falcon, or similar fraud management tool.
  • Strong academic background in a STEM field.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
