Job Opportunity: Surveillance Analyst (12-Month Contract)
Location: LondonDay Rate: £562.49 via umbrella
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct post-trade, electronic communications, and telephone surveillance.
- Review exceptions from surveillance tools, escalating where necessary.
- Provide written reports on market abuse risks such as IPOs and mergers.
- Ensure best execution for clients through trade surveillance.
- Develop and present analysis on trading activities and market manipulation.
- Maintain and enhance surveillance controls and procedures.
- Monitor regulatory updates and ensure compliance.
- Attend business committees and provide effective contributions.
- Lead internal and external audit reviews.
- Conduct daily sanctions screening and risk analysis.
Requirements:
- Experience with Trading Hub and Bloomberg TCA.
- Knowledge of global equity and fixed income derivatives.
- Strong understanding of MNPI and market abuse risks.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
