Games Design Lead Tutor Opportunity

About UsFor over 25 years, we have been at the forefront of creative sector training, offering vocational study programmes, apprenticeships, traineeships, and adult learning courses. Our facilities include state-of-the-art campuses and co-working spaces, providing an innovative and supportive environment for learners and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:*Deliver engaging lessons tailored to learner needs and interests.*Facilitate interdepartmental collaborations and enrichment activities.*Support learners with individual tutorials, progress tracking, and end-of-year assessments.*Ensure learner safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding compliance.*Maintain accurate attendance and academic records using Arbor MIS and Google Sheets.*Stay updated with awarding body requirements through in-house training.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:*GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade 4/C or equivalent (Level 2).*Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area.*Strong teaching and communication skills with an understanding of the Ofsted framework.*Visual scripting/programming skills and proficiency in software such as Autodesk Maya, *Blender, Unity, or Unreal Engine.*Empathy and commitment to supporting learners from diverse backgrounds.

Desirable Skills*Experience with Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere.*Professional industry experience or entrepreneurial background.*Drawing and art skills.
