Its services includes cloud-based digital signage, customer engagement technology, installation services and ongoing field support, all designed to enhance the customer experience.

 

It is now seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join its dynamic team. This role will report to the SVP Global Sales in the States, focus on driving sales and business growth within the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) market.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with a specific emphasis on cloud-based content management system (CMS) solutions and related hardware and services.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in the EMEA region.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients within the target market which is primarily retail, with a focus on Specialty Retail, C-Store, Grocery and Financial/Banking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target accounts.
  • Conduct in-depth needs analysis and solution presentations to demonstrate the value proposition of our cloud-based CMS solution and associated hardware and services.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales collateral, presentations, and case studies to support business development efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in the digital signage and CMS space.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads and promote the company's offerings.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Work closely with the client success/operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports to the management team via Salesforce.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a business development role within the digital signage industry.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of cloud-based CMS solutions, digital signage hardware, and associated services.
  • Experience selling to clients in the EMEA region, with a solid understanding of the market dynamics and cultural nuances.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales and collaboration tools to track and manage leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Willingness to travel within the EMEA region as needed.
  • Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
