An manufacturing business, is searching for an Account Manager to join their Data Centre Team with travel to London.Your Role:While in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:
  • Targeting potential customers who may need HVAC and process cooling equipment solutions, building strong relationships with both these potential and also existing customers
  • Undertaking regular follow ups with customers, ensuring that their ongoing needs are catered for, addressing any issues and providing sound after-sales support including maintenance advice and coordinating with the technical team
  • Developing successful sales strategies with the aim of generating good leads to convert into opportunities for sales and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, ensuring this is inputted and regularly updated onto the CRM system
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify key information such as competitors, trends and opportunities, and analysing these along with customer feedback to provide areas of improvement
  • Supporting internal marketing professionals to develop marketing and promotional materials and campaigns that can be used to support the sales strategies
  • Giving customers technical support in order to assist them in deciding on the most suitable solutions to cater for their individual needs, and collaborating with the engineering teams to use customer specifications to inform development and the design of customised solutions
  • Undertaking customer site visits and assessments to understand customer needs to be able to propose suitable equipment solutions
  • Carrying out sales reporting and forecasting, including pipeline updates and performance metrics, providing recommendations for sales enhancements and strategy development
You MUST Have:Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
  • Hold a qualification or experience in Engineering or a related field
  • Have extensive proven sales and customer relationship management experience, ideally within the HVAC or refrigeration industry
  • Possess fantastic communication skills and a proactive approach to sales development
  • Proficiency in CRM software as well as Microsoft Office
PLEASE NOTE: The position holder will be expected to travel into London fairly regularly and also around the country for client site visits, therefore applicants must have access to transport and be able to undertake any travel needed.Your Opportunity:This business is an industry giant, and offers various permanent and hire solutions, covering a multitude of HVAC and engineering needs for their extensive client list.
