A new exciting opportunity has become available for a Data CRM Manager providing specialist data, analytical, and technical expertise to drive customer engagement across various channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and delivering data selections, analyses, and experiments to enhance our communications.

This role involves primary responsibility for operating and developing my clients Marketing Automation and Email Broadcast platforms, ensuring compliance with UK GDPR and PECR standards, and leading a team of Data Planners.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Plan and execute data selections, analyses, and experiments to drive and improve customer communications.
  • Operate and develop Marketing Automation and Email Broadcast platforms to meet business needs.
  • Ensure data usage is compliant with UK GDPR and PECR standards.
  • Develop and manage a team of Data Planners, including an Apprentice, to achieve business objectives.
  • Create audience plans and campaign selections for delivery.
  • Apply campaign design principles to campaign selections for robust evaluation of outcomes, including A/B testing and multi-variate testing.
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and brief external technical teams to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Support the team with expanding knowledge in data analysis coding languages.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree in a numerical, statistical, or behavioural science field, or a professional marketing qualification with a strong focus on data and digital, or equivalent work experience.
  • Significant experience leading and managing a team of analysts, data managers, or data planners.
  • Proficiency in querying, handling, and analysing large, disparate data sets and targeted selections.
  • Skilled in developing audience plans and campaign selections.
  • Knowledge of CRM or Marketing Automation software such as SAS CI studio, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Apteco.
  • Good understanding of at least one coding language for Data Analysis (e.g., Python, R, SQL, SAS).
  • Web Analytics experience is an advantage.
