Are you a business leader with several years of experience managing a company or team across the digital landscape and subscription-based products?About this role:As the Business Manager for a new venture within the company, you will lead the development of the new stand-alone business through product launch and growth.The digital product will be launched, in conjunction with major TV and radio broadcasters and on social media with a significant marketing budget.Your job will be to manage the business through launch and growth phases; to recruit and lead the team; to manage relationships with partners and you will be accountable to the Board of Directors and investing partners.The digital product relies on the maximisation of initial sales and ongoing subscriptions.You will manage a team of experts in marketing, CRM, digital product development and data analysis, financial control and customer experience. You will have the support of a technical team with experience in this area and corporate partners.About the ClientWe create award-winning interactive services for the TV, radio and the film industry. Our clients include ITV, Global Media and Warner Media.Founded in 2012, the company is based in London, with software engineering teams in Krakow and Rzeszow, Poland.The company invented and holds a patent for mass interaction TV events. It currently runs the votes for ITV’s Love Island, Britain’s Got Talent and I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! It provides innovative competition platforms for Global radio and ITV (with its joint venture Neon Cube) and develops interactive quiz shows.The media industry has kindly recognised us for producing the world’s first truly interactive competition show, The Singer Takes It All on Channel 4. Over the years we have been honoured to receive a number of national and international awards, including 'Best Platform Innovation', 'Best App' and 'Best Multi-platform Project' by Broadcast Magazine; BAFTA's TV Craft Awards short-listing and winning IBC’s international innovation awardAbout the Team:You would be joining a new start-up team within the established business to launch a new consumer-facing online product. The team will consist of experts in different fields who will work together in a new team of 10 people, with the support of a big business. The team will act like a mini business in its own rightYou Will:
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of a business.
- Work with the Directors to set targets, budgets and business plans and manage the business to achieve the objectives set.
- Liaise with media and marketing partners and a digital agency to optimise media spend and marketing promotions.
- Develop and manage relationships with sponsors and suppliers.
- Monitor and report on the P&L to the Board of Directors.
- Lead and motivate a small team of around 10 people, including CRM manager, data analytics, customer services, product development, financial control and operations.
The ideal candidate:
- Several years experience managing a company or team.
- Extensive experience in digital products and services.
- Ideally, has a background in online gambling, lotteries or competitions.
- Ideally, has a background in online marketing.
- Enjoys the spirit of working in a start-up environment and is willing to muck-in, use initiative and take responsibility.
