eCommerce (Marketplace) Manager - Network agency - up to 40k

With expertise spanning multiple channels, including D2C, Marketplaces, Social Commerce, Paid Social, and Programmatic, the agency supports clients globally through managed services, advisory roles, and technology solutions.

The Role

A dynamic opportunity for an experienced Marketplace Manager to lead the strategic and operational management of Amazon and Connected Commerce accounts. This role involves overseeing content and organic strategies, optimising performance, and ensuring operational excellence. You will work closely with senior leadership while mentoring junior team members, developing actionable plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve commercial success.

A deep understanding of Amazon Retail (Vendor and Seller Central) is crucial, along with knowledge of paid media and marketplace strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for operational improvements, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute eCommerce strategies tailored to client objectives.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of Amazon and Connected Commerce accounts, resolving challenges efficiently.

  • Lead performance tracking and reporting, analysing insights to optimise strategies.

  • Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering professional growth.

  • Ensure best-in-class content, digital shelf presence, and operational excellence.

  • Work closely with clients to define roadmaps and align priorities with business goals.

  • Support business development initiatives, contributing insights for pitch presentations.

  • Stay informed on industry tools, trends, and best practices to drive innovation.

Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in Amazon Retail (Vendor and Seller Central) is essential.

  • Strong understanding of Amazon Ads, Retail Media, and Marketplace strategies.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Effective communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
