A young start up with experienced leaders and backers looking to launch and operate a range of games in the crypto space is looking for a Head of Affiliates to join the team. Along with a salary of up to £80,000 per annum, you will also receive flexible working arrangements and professional development and training opportunities. You will spearhead the online casino's affiliate marketing strategy, driving growth and maximising player acquisition through a network of affiliates. This role demands a seasoned professional with extensive proven success in managing high-performing affiliate programs, particularly within the iGaming or cryptocurrency space. The ideal candidate possesses an in-depth knowledge of affiliate systems (e.g., MyAffiliates, CellXpert), a solid understanding of deal/ commission structures and payments, and a data-driven approach to affiliate management and reporting.Key Responsibilities of the Head of Affiliates:Strategic Planning & Execution:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive affiliate marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Identify, target, and recruit high-quality candidates who can deliver valuable traffic and generate consistent player conversions.
  • Negotiate and manage affiliate contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement innovative affiliate campaigns and promotions to attract new players and reactivate existing ones.
  • Oversee the affiliate onboarding process, providing training and support to maximize their effectiveness.
Affiliate Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate strong relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact.
  • Proactively communicating, providing regular updates on casino news, promotions, and performance metrics.
  • Address affiliate inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Organize and attend affiliate events and conferences to network and build relationships within the industry.
Performance Tracking & Optimization:
  • Monitor and analyse affiliate performance data, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop and implement KPIs to track affiliate effectiveness and ROI.
  • Provide regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Identify and address underperforming affiliates, providing guidance and support to improve their results.
Commission & Payment Management:
  • Design and implement competitive commission structures and payment models that incentivize affiliate performance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate affiliate payments, adhering to contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage affiliate invoicing and payment processing.
  • Resolve any payment disputes or discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Stay abreast of relevant regulations and industry best practices related to affiliate marketing and responsible gambling.
  • Ensure all affiliate activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Implement measures to mitigate risk and prevent fraud within the affiliate program.
  • Monitor affiliate marketing materials and communications to ensure they adhere to brand guidelines and responsible gambling standards.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other marketing teams (e.g., CRM, content, social media) to ensure a cohesive and integrated marketing approach.
  • Collaborate with the product and development teams to optimize the player experience and enhance affiliate conversion rates.

  • Extensive experience in affiliate marketing, with a proven track record of success in managing high-performing programs
