Our client, a successful independent label/management and publishing company based in central London, is seeking a President of Marketing to spearhead marketing campaigns for a dynamic roster of artists across both domestic and international markets. The role offers WHF Fridays and a generous holiday schedule.
Key responsibilities will include:
路 Undertaking the expert planning, execution, and control of artist campaigns.
路 Working on frontline album release marketing plans, with a focus on consumer-driven marketing.
路 Ensuring timely delivery of project needs and generate timelines, deadlines, and budgets in conjunction with all departments.
路 Owning project ideation and spearheading creative concepts and initiatives for artists.
路 Providing full coordination and communication across projects within external and internal teams.
路 Overseeing the realisation and delivery of all production elements and tools needed for album releases.
路 Securing strategic marketing placements and opportunities with external corporate and entertainment partners.
路 Cultivating an understanding of artist fan bases.
路 Developing product suites to increase revenue streams.
路 Focussing on contextual market conditions and analysing marketing results.
路 Coordinating artist appearances with all departments and artists, as well as external vendors. This could be across radio, in stores, and publicity activities.
路 Creating and coordinating special events for album releases, key tour dates and other special events.
路 Collaborating across label departments to support label releases.
路 Serving as the primary contact between artist, label, and distributors.
路 Defining the positioning of artist and drawing out the artist鈥檚 story.
路 Ensuring the overall artist message and brand is maintained in all marketing messaging.
路 Evolving artist brands with productive collaboration between artist, managers, and marketing team.
路 Communicating to the artist and distributors the label鈥檚 interests.
路 Maintaining an awareness of the artist鈥檚 needs and plans to the team.
路 Building an effective working relationship with the artist and management, to understand their goals and processes.
路 Broadcasting status updates and issues relating to album releases to department executives.
路 Managing junior staff to develop them for promotion within the company.
Requirements:
路 Substantial experience working at a senior level in marketing within a label essential.
路 Demonstrable and recent success with artists marketing campaigns essential.
路 Expert level collaboration skills.
路 Previous experience working with artists and their management.
路 Able to plan, execute, coordinate marketing campaigns.
路 Experience generating creative ideas to market artists.
路 Understanding of the music industry marketing landscape.
路 Experience managing and mentoring junior staff.
路 Excellent communication and organizational skills, able to consistently meet deadlines.
路 Capable of leading plans and activities.
路 Strong leadership abilities.
