Ryder Reid Legal is currently recruiting for a marketing professional with a passion for client development and a knack for strategic execution to join our elite, international law firm client at their London office as a Senior Marketing & BD Manager. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate with partners across various practices, including Antitrust & Competition, Asset Management, Business Reorganisation & Restructuring, International Arbitration, Litigation, and Tax. Your mission: to expand their business and elevate their profiles.

Responsibilities:

  • Build professional relationships with partners and colleagues.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts with the Communications and Client Development teams.
  • Develop and manage RFP/RFI responses and pitches.
  • Understand the firm's clients and prospects to enhance London relationships.
  • Organise client events and support related activities.
  • Use and improve firmwide client development tools.
  • Create and maintain marketing materials.
  • Fulfil attorney requests for experience lists and other materials.
  • Manage prospects lists and track business development efforts.
  • Track key relationships and contacts.
  • Record detailed experience information promptly.
  • Collaborate on league table submissions.
  • Handle directory submissions and leverage results.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 6+ years of experience in a law firm or professional services organization.
  • Strong writing skills for pitches and marketing materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
  • Process-oriented with strong time and project management skills.
  • Reliable and able to build trust through consistent performance.
  • Critical thinking skills and value-added input.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator.
  • Knowledge of databases like CapitalIQ, Lex Machina, Preqin, and Pitchbook.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with Vuture and Interaction preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree required; legal degree or prior legal practice/paralegal experience preferred.
