A leading independent global insurance services provider is seeking an ambitious individual to take up the role of Compliance Manager— UK & EMEA to manage the Regional delivery of their Global compliance strategy.
Reporting to the Global Head of Regulatory Compliance, your overall responsibility will be to provide sound compliance advice and guidance to business stakeholders across the UK & EMEA and to work diligently and methodically to identify areas of opportunity through a thorough analysis of impact, criticality and remedial options. This is a challenging role for an individual experienced in the delivery of compliance requirements within a fast-paced insurance services commercial environment.
This role is remote with occasional meetings in the central London office. The role is paying £40,000-£50,000 depending on experience and offers very good benefits including 25 days holiday, 8% pension contribution and an electric vehicle scheme.
About you - Knowledge and Experience:
- Successful candidates will ideally have a background working in a fast-paced insurance environment (or a similar FCA regulated environment) and will have deep and proven experience of delivering in a regional internal compliance role.
- Good knowledge of FCA rules and regulations is essential. You will have a proactive and flexible approach and will be able to manage multiple priorities and conflicting demands, with the ability to quickly evaluate and determine priorities and escalations.
- You will be accustomed to championing a compliance culture and will have excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. The ability to innovate and improve processes to drive efficiencies is critical together with a forward-thinking strategic mindset.
