Our client, a leading player in the banking sector, is currently looking for a Compliance Monitoring Officer to join their team. If you have a solid background in Compliance and a passion for ensuring regulatory requirements are met, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to take the next step in your career.As a Compliance Monitoring Officer, you will play a crucial role in the execution of our client's compliance monitoring plan. Working closely with the Compliance team, you will help maintain the compliance framework and ensure that the organisation meets all necessary regulatory obligations. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will be vital in carrying out your responsibilities and contributing to the success of the Compliance department.Key Responsibilities:Execute compliance monitoring tasks assigned in line with our client's compliance monitoring plan and framework.Contribute to the review and update of the departmental Compliance monitoring procedure.Assist with administrative tasks such as meeting minutes and record maintenance.Support the onboarding and offboarding process.Assist in the administration of branch-wide training material, including tracking completion of mandatory training events.Stay up to date with requirements issued by regulatory authorities.Provide support to business units on regulatory matters and escalate issues to senior members of the Compliance team when needed.Investigate and report breaches of internal policy as required.Continuously enhance your knowledge and competence within the role to maintain a professional compliance function within the organisation.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum of 3 years' relevant Compliance experience in the Banking industry.Solid understanding of Regulatory requirements (FCA).Accurate and diligent with a proactive approach to work.Proficient in Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.Supervision and Reporting Lines:Receive direct supervision from the Line Manager and ultimately the Head of Compliance.Key Stakeholders:Collaborate with colleagues at all levels within the organisation.If you are seeking a challenging and rewarding role in Compliance within the banking industry, we encourage you to apply now.
