I am recruiting for a Data Protection / Privacy Compliance officer paying a day rate of £528 via PAYE (inclusive of holiday). Their hybrid model requires staff in the office 4 days a week (non-negotiable) and expected contract during until March 2025.
Please see below for person specification details:
- 3-5 years experience, preferably operating in a global privacy and data protection environment
- Relevant legal and/or privacy qualification desirable.
- Familiarity with privacy and data protection laws
- Direct experience working in financial services is highly desired
- Experience or familiarity with conducting privacy risk assessments
- Ability to build rapport with key stakeholders to identify privacy risks/trends and stay abreast of new products/initiatives
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form
- Motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Develops solutions to problems, checking where appropriate with senior management
- Committed to thinking and acting with integrity and honesty
