Deputy Head of Policy and Public Affairs:

London

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and leadership to the team.
  • Build strong relationships with senior civil servants, regulators, MPs and think tanks.
  • Represent the organisation at external events and forums.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation.
  • Ensure team's policy positions and influencing strategies are evidence based and impactful.
  • Provide support, guidance and challenge to ensure the team delivers and launches cutting edge policy and research.
  • Deputise the senior colleagues, including the CEO as appropriate.
  • Ensure all policy activities align with the organisation's mission and values.

Profile

Deputy Head of Policy and Public Affairs:

London

Essential:

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven experience in a leadership position in policy or public affairs.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Experience managing priorities and responding to deadlines.
  • Outstanding knowledge of Westminster and Whitehall.
