Our client, who are a leading London Based University, are looking for a new Deputy Head of Strategic Planning, Statutory Reporting and Data Governance to join their team. This position will lead the institution’s operational delivery associated with meeting its statutory reporting obligations whilst leading on the data governance and quality ensuring accurate data submissions.

The ideal candidate will have experience with statutory data returns in higher education, including HESA, ITT, and Unistats. Experience in managing teams and driving improvements in data processes is essential. A relevant degree or equivalent experience is required, with a postgraduate qualification being desirable.

Key Requirements:

  • Essential Experience: Proven expertise in UK higher education statutory data submissions and data governance. Experience with HESA Student, ITT returns, and Unistats will be highly beneficial.
  • Data Governance Leadership: Strong background in managing data quality and driving improvements in data reporting and analytics.
  • Analytical Skills: Advanced skills in data analysis and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to a wide range of stakeholders obligations.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Qualifications: A relevant degree or equivalent experience is essential. A Postgraduate/Professional qualification would be an advantage.
