Governance and Technical Proposition Manager

London or Reigate - Hybrid (50% office-based)

As a Governance and Technical Proposition Manager you'll play a key role in evolving their existing products while also contributing to the design and launch of new offerings. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a variety of projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and governance best practices are at the heart of everything they do.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Guiding new product development - Work with proposition owners and product teams to ensure new products align with regulatory frameworks.
  • Ensuring strong governance - Support product leads in embedding governance best practices throughout the development cycle.
  • Staying ahead of regulatory changes - Monitor, analyse, and assess the impact of regulatory shifts on their Retail business and strategy.
  • Providing expert insights - Summarise regulatory changes and their impact for key stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Supporting governance responsibilities - Ensure ongoing compliance for existing propositions.
  • Leading on reporting & briefings - Deliver clear, concise reports to internal committees and follow up on actions.
  • Handling technical queries - Provide expert support on their product range.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a technical role or team.
  • Expertise in Defined Contribution (DC) Pensions, Equity Release, or investment products (e.g., ISAs, GIAs).
  • Strong ability to interpret regulations and industry rules related to pensions and investments.
  • Excellent communication skills - able to translate complex subjects for different audiences.
  • Ability to engage and manage relationships with stakeholders, including senior leaders.
