Our client is seeking a diligent and committed Regulatory Reporting professional for a 12-month fixed term contract. This role, based in the heart of London, offers an exciting opportunity to take full responsibility for the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to the Bank of England and PRA. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team, working on both subsidiary and London Branch reporting. What you'll do:

As a Regulatory Reporting professional, your primary role will be to ensure the accurate and timely preparation and submission of regulatory reports. You will be responsible for producing a variety of reports including but not limited to BoE returns, COREP, PRA Capital returns, and other FCA returns. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure that effective audit trails are maintained in back up files. You will also assist in audit reviews of the regulatory reporting function and respond promptly to queries from relevant regulators. Additionally, you will prepare Pillar 3 process and review templates while providing support to the senior regulatory policy advisor.

  • Ensure the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of all regulatory reporting for subsidiary and London Branch.
  • Produce various reports including BoE returns, COREP, PRA Capital returns, other FCA returns.
  • Prepare branch returns for the London Branch.
  • Maintain effective audit trails in back up files.
  • Assist in audit reviews of regulatory reporting function.
  • Respond to queries from relevant regulators.
  • Prepare Pillar 3 process and review templates.
  • Provide support to the senior regulatory policy advisor for ad-hoc and project work.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Regulatory Reporting role brings a wealth of experience in financial services with a minimum of 3-5 years in regulatory reporting. Your proven track record in full COREP, liquidity (including PRA110), and statistical returns will be invaluable in this role. Your knowledge of Axiom software coupled with proficiency in MS Excel and MS Access will enable you to excel in this position. As a qualified accountant, your organisational skills will be put to good use in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reports. Your willingness to learn and ability to work effectively as part of a team will contribute to your success in this role.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in regulatory reporting within Financial Services.
  • Proven track record of regulatory reporting especially full COREP, liquidity (including PRA110) and statistical returns.
  • Knowledge of Axiom software.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency using MS Excel, MS Access.
  • Qualified accountant (desirable).
  • Proven organisational skills.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
