The Role

As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing all project-related documentation, ensuring accurate records are maintained, and supporting the project team with document control processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain project documentation using document control systems (such as Aconex, Viewpoint, or Asite).
  • Ensure all documents are correctly numbered, logged, and distributed.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all project documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Liaise with project managers, site teams, and external stakeholders to ensure document control procedures are followed.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of project documentation for handover and compliance purposes.
  • Monitor document revisions and approvals to ensure version control.
  • Provide administrative support related to document management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Document Controller within the fit-out or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in document management systems such as Aconex, Viewpoint, Asite, or similar platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of construction documentation standards and compliance requirements is advantageous.
