  • Salary: £14,147 per annum – Band A, Level 3 inclusive of Outer London Weighting and a Market Supplement (pro rata £24,084, Band A, Level 3, inclusive of Outer London Weighting & Market Supplement)

About the Team and Role:

As a Facilities Housekeeper, you will be a vital part of the team ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the estate for The Scouts Association (TSA). This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same—you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including maintaining our bedrooms and communal areas to the highest standards, supporting events, and helping with operational tasks.

As the Facilities Housekeeper, Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in bedrooms, communal areas, toilets, kitchens, and meeting spaces.
  • Event support, including setting up and ensuring smooth operations, which may include weekend work.
  • Routine inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues.
  • Daily laundry tasks and ensuring timely completion.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while ensuring all spaces are sanitised and safe

Who we’re looking for as our Facilities Housekeeper:

  • A logical thinker with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to self-prioritise and complete tasks without supervision.
  • A team player who’s comfortable working independently
  • At least two years of experience in a similar housekeeping or cleaning role.
  • A good understanding of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping and cleaning.
  • First Aid and Fire Marshall training (or willingness to complete the training).
  • Good time management and an ability to perform under pressure
