Live-Out Housekeeper, 30 hours per week, Dulwich, London - Up to £22 gross per hour

A new, long-term opportunity is available for someone local to Dulwich. Our clients, a family of four, are looking for a reliable, professional housekeeper to maintain their beautiful 3-bedroom property in Dulwich. This is a Monday to Friday role, with a weekend housekeeper supporting the family over the weekends.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, proactive, and able to take initiative—someone who sees what needs doing and tackles tasks efficiently. You'll need to be flexible, handling tasks like online orders or overseeing contractors, and communicating effectively with both the family and outside service providers. The family employs a nanny, so no childcare duties are required, and they’re looking for a family-friendly housekeeper who will become part of the family.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Daily cleaning and general upkeep to an exceptional standard (dusting, hoovering, mopping, tidying)

• Kitchen care (polishing silverware, cleaning the fridge and pantry)

• Cleaning bathrooms

• Laundry and ironing

• Making beds and changing linens

• Wardrobe management

• Household organisational tasks

• Deep cleaning

• Grocery shopping and running errands

• Overseeing contractors

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping experience in a private home preferred

• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness

• Good communication skills and ability to liaise with the family and external service providers

• Trustworthy, reliable, and proactive in identifying and resolving household needs

• Someone who can commit to a long-term position and become part of the family

• Right to work in the UK

• Excellent checkable references

Days/hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am - 1/2pm or 8am - 2/3pm

Salary: Up to £22 gross per hour
