The company is a design and build construction company working on leading commercial refurbishment projects in the private across central London. They focus on quality, cost and sustainability factors with over 5 live projects and continuously tendering for others ranging from £10m to £100m+. They are still a growing company in the UK and are backed by a larger group of companies within the brand in different countries. This position is due to sheer growth and demand.
The role involves design by specification provided by the design manager, external coordination, strategies, planning and compliance with regulatory standards. You will run design ideas, provide progress reports and provide handover reviews. This role has a level of responsibility and autonomy as you will lead projects from cradle to grave.

The Role:
* Design and oversee subcontractors.
* Work with consultants to formulate design strategies whilst being creative, but meeting compliance standards.
* Manage team and embed a collaborative culture among internal and external relations.
Candidate Requirements:
* Be familiar with Design software in construction (Vectorworks)
* Desirable experience using AutoCAD/Revit Software.
* Strong understanding of refurbishment projects.
