Technical Director / Associate Partner – Mechanical Design (Building Services) – London

 

A London-based multi-disciplinary, property consultancy is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services) to join them as a Technical Director / Associate Partner.

 

As an Associate Partner, you will play a very important role in helping develop and expand the London Building Services team with new and existing opportunities.

 

They are currently working on projects ranging from £3 to £100 million across industrial, commercial, educational, residential and healthcare sectors. They deliver their projects to a minimum of BIM level 2 standards.

 

Duties will include:

 

  • Assist with developing Building Services within the company and lead the technical development of the group
  • Assisting the office Partner to lead and manage the Building Services team
  • Manage existing clients and develop further opportunities
  • Be responsible for resourcing and delivering to a financial target
  • Attend networking events, seminars and business development events to raise awareness of the company.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of mechanical engineering projects
  • Peer review of colleagues works
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including building services professionals, environmental scientists, and community stakeholders

 

To be considered for this position:

 

  • You must have hands-on experience with Mechanical Design from a consultancy or contractor background. Ideally, you will be Chartered or working towards.
  • Strong knowledge of Building Services regulations and design principles
  • Knowledge of current legislation.
