You will have relevant knowledge of AutoCAD and associated presentation packages with experience in 2D and 3D modelling. Revit knowledge beneficial.

Strong understanding of MEP systems and how to effectively route and coordinate services.

Maintain effective working relationships with key people both internally with other departments and externally with clients and other professionals.

Reporting to the CADManager, responsibilities will include:

Review Design layouts, block diagrams, schematics, assembly and part drawings and associated cable schedules and create mark ups as required.

Coordinate between design team and site personnel

Be pro-active in streamlining and automating drawing and engineering processes and propose improvement ideas.

Issue drawings and information for tendering and construction purposes.

Create technical submittals for all MEP equipment

Respond to RFIs for all MEP design within residential and commercial buildings and provide mark up responses where required

Deal with site queries.

Assist in the compilation of O&M manuals

Liaise with architects, engineers (all consultants) and sub-contractors for information.

Attend and minute Design Team Meetings and workshops.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5years of experience within an MEP position, 3 of which working on commercialschemes. Candidates must be confident communicators.
