Electrical Estimator

Location: East London (Head Office)

Ridgeway & Co are working with aleading M&E Contractor in their search for anElectrical Estimator to join their dynamic team. Specialising in Commercial Fit-Out and Refurbishment projects, our client regularly collaborates with Tier 1 Principal Contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse project specifications, drawings, and requirements to assess costs.

  • Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

  • Collaborate with the design and pre-construction teams to develop cost-effective solutions.

  • Conduct risk analysis and value engineering assessments.

  • Ensure all tender documentation is prepared and submitted within deadlines.

  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure project feasibility.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within the M&E contracting sector.

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and installations.

  • Experience working on large scale Commercial projects.

  • Familiarity with working alongside Tier 1 Principal Contractors.

  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in estimating software.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
