Electrical Estimator

4Site Recruitment is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Estimator to join an expanding Estimating team for a well-established electrical contractor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and self-motivated individual with a passion for estimating and a background in electrical installation.

The Role:
As an Intermediate Electrical Estimator, you will:

• Prepare accurate estimates and proposals to secure new business opportunities.
• Analyse job specifications and drawings to create competitive tenders.
• Perform take-offs, including material and hour calculations, from technical drawings.
• Attend site visits and walkthroughs to identify potential challenges and proactive solutions.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to clarify specifications and secure competitive pricing.
• Support the Estimating Manager and Senior Electrical Estimator in tender preparation and submissions.
• Collaborate with the Contracts Team during preconstruction meetings and project handovers.

Key Requirements:

• Onsite electrical experience and completion of an electrical apprenticeship.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Electrical Estimator.
• Familiarity with pricing Data Centres, Commercial Fit-Outs, and Infrastructure Replacements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
• Experience with estimating software (Trimble experience advantageous but not essential).
• Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• A full UK driving license.
