At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Mechanic Team Lead to work in wheel station for an important company in Tottenham - leading smart-mobility provider that offers cities an array of mobility products including e-assist bicycles and electric scooters.
Shift Patterns:
- Sunday-Thursday - 9am-5pm
Pay Rates
As a Mechanic Team Lead you will need to have:
Previous experience as a bike mechanic is required (ideally wheel building experience)Must be able to true and build wheelsAbility to lift up to 35 kg on a frequent basis requiredKnowledge of cell phone applications. iOS experience preferredStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform quick and efficient repairsSelf-motivated with and the ability to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily tasksA safety-oriented mindset, capable of conducting rigorous quality checksExcellent communication skills with the ability to work well within a teamMust be comfortable to work in a face paced environment.
Role of a Mechanic Team Lead:
Train and lead a team of Mechanics while assigning daily tasks as needed and ensuring workflow is efficient Maintain a team oriented environment and integrate new Mechanics to the teamEvaluate and provide feedback to the manager on team performanceEnsure operational compliance and safety of all wheels by completing quality checks prior to their departure from the warehouseFollow established safety procedures to ensure Lime riders are on the safest vehiclesMay assist with any level of tire maintenance including changes, inflation, or assemblyMaintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the warehousePerform wheel repairs from basic maintenance to building wheelsAdditional job related tasks as assigned
