At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Mechanic Team Lead to work in wheel station for an important company in Tottenham - leading smart-mobility provider that offers cities an array of mobility products including e-assist bicycles and electric scooters.

Shift Patterns:

  • Sunday-Thursday - 9am-5pm

Pay Rates

  • £15/h

As a Mechanic Team Lead you will need to have:


  • Previous experience as a bike mechanic is required (ideally wheel building experience)
  • Must be able to true and build wheels
  • Ability to lift up to 35 kg on a frequent basis required
  • Knowledge of cell phone applications. iOS experience preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform quick and efficient repairs
  • Self-motivated with and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily tasks
  • A safety-oriented mindset, capable of conducting rigorous quality checks
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well within a team
  • Must be comfortable to work in a face paced environment.

  • Role of a Mechanic Team Lead:


  • Train and lead a team of Mechanics while assigning daily tasks as needed and ensuring workflow is efficient
  • Maintain a team oriented environment and integrate new Mechanics to the team
  • Evaluate and provide feedback to the manager on team performance
  • Ensure operational compliance and safety of all wheels by completing quality checks prior to their departure from the warehouse
  • Follow established safety procedures to ensure Lime riders are on the safest vehicles
  • May assist with any level of tire maintenance including changes, inflation, or assembly
  • Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse
  • Perform wheel repairs from basic maintenance to building wheels
  • Additional job related tasks as assigned
