This fully remote-working Mechanical Design Engineer role will see you joining a Kent based building services design consultancy as part of their well structured and supportive team.
While the company might have been formed recently, it's led by experienced people who wanted to break away from the corporates and do things their way.
There is a palpable energy there which has led them to build upon well established client relationships and move them into a different league.
Their projects are an interesting mix of education, residential, healthcare and housing schemes; it will test your grey matter and provide the breadth of work that you need for your Chartership portfolio.
While you will not be expected to go to the office more often than once in a blue moon (unless you want to!), you will be visiting clients in the London area for face to face meetings, site surveys etc.
For your application to be successful it is essential that:
- You have worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer within building services consultancy
- Have an HNC/D qualification (or above) coupled with familiarity with UK design standards
- Can demonstrate experience of working on healthcare or education schemes
Ideally you will be based within the M25 to make attending site easy and having a driving license will also be useful.
Their benefits packages is both generous and innovative; they provide full private health after your probation period and have a Christmas close down that doesn't require you to save holiday days to cover it.
Your 25 days leave are your 25 days leave!
In all, this is a brilliant opportunity to have a truly flexible position working as a Mechanical Design Engineer in London with the growth potential of a young company.
Due to the size of the organisation they are sadly unable to provide sponsorship support.
