Role: Plumber (Nights)Salary: £35,000Location: LondonFull Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday (Nights) 45 hour week-  This consists of 5x 9hr shifts per week.  Generally onsite time 7.30pm – 4am but can change depending on location of worksAre you happy working Nights?Do you have 4 years experience within the Plumbing Industry?Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Plumberto join the team.The main purpose of the Plumber to work alongside the Lead Drainage Operative to attend both reactive and planned works within commercial premises, office space, retail, industrial sites and good establishments. You will be trained on everything Drainage related.In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £35,000 P/A + Overtime opportunities of up to an additional £8,000, depending on experience, plus progression opportunities, pension, annual leave, Full job support and on the job training.This is a full-time, permanent position. The hours of work will be This consists of 5x 9hr shifts per week. Monday Night – Friday night.  Generally onsite time 7.30pm – 4am but can change depending on location of works.Reporting to the Remedial Team Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leak tracing and investigation on above ground water services
  • Repairing leaks on water services in service voids and riser
  • Removing and replacing small bore waste pipe on pot wash sinks, basins, urinals etc
  • Replacing mixer taps, wash down taps and spray guns
  • Replacing toilet float lines and stack pipework
  • Removing and Installing cast iron soil pipework
  • Assisting drainage operatives with cutting in pipe access to support blockage clearance and investigation works
  • Assisting other plumbing operatives with quoted works which will consist of both small reactive works and large internal above ground drainage replacements.
  • Supporting drainage operatives with internal drain descales.
  • Using CCTV equipment to support leak investigation
  • Taking water samples to confirm source of leaks
  • Supporting excavation teams with repairs on below ground water mains
  • Extensive descale works for above and below ground drainage, including small bore and stack pipework internally, this is carried out via the use of HPWJ, electromechanical milling machine and hand coring machine.
  • CCTV Surveys, inspections and detailed investigation works which will involve fault finding and providing practical solutions to support the client’s needs.
  • Supporting with producing site drainage plans, identifying defects, design issues, pipe conditions and missed connections within the system.
  • Assist specialist teams with lining, patching and rehabilitation works.
  • Assist with Jetvac tanker works including line cleaning, root cutting, and confined space entry works.
  • Generally supporting drainage teams with clearance and blockage works should emergencies arise.

The ideal candidate:

  • Knowledge of Drainage
  • 2 years plumbing experience
  • Valid UK driving license is essential.
  • Willingness to support with drainage related plumbing works.
  • Willingness to learn
  • Experience with working on commercials properties
  • Can do work ethic.Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong team player.
  • Willingness to learn and progress within the role.Self-motivation, discipline, and serious attitude towards health and safety in the workplace.
  • Attention to detail and customer focused attitude.
